Biography

While in law school, Joseph was a member of the Administrative Law Review, a joint publication with the Administrative Law Section of the American Bar Association. He was also a law clerk for the General Counsel of the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission’s Montgomery County Planning Board and Judge Derek P. Pullan of Utah’s Fourth Judicial District Court.

After law school, Joseph gained experience in both personally advising clients on individual matters, and participating in large, international litigation teams while working as an attorney in Washington, D.C. At a small litigation firm, Joseph represented construction subcontractors and business owners, managing clients’ cases from initial pleadings, through the discovery process, to post-judgment proceedings. He also assisted international law firms in their representation of Japanese corporate clients, providing legal review of Japanese documents in federal investigations, mergers, divestitures, and litigation proceedings.

After practicing there for nine years, Joseph joined Cannon Law Group in 2017. Joseph has successfully assisted clients in a wide variety of legal matters, from individuals to international businesses. Joseph represents and advises individuals and businesses on business formation, transactions, and disputes. He also assists clients with construction, real estate matters, and intended parents and gestational carriers in gestational surrogacy matters. Whether reviewing, drafting, negotiating, or litigating, Joseph works to protect clients and provide cost-effective results.
